Gillingham and Grimsby square off against each other at Priestfield Stadium in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. The Gills suffered a 2-0 loss to Mansfield at the weekend, with the team dropping to the relegation zone, but keep in mind that they defeated both Hartlepool and Crawley Town in the previous two home fixtures. All Alexander, Lapslie, and O’Brien are pushing for a start as head coach Neil Harris should opt to make changes to the team that faced the Yellows.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Colchester. Grimsby are nine points clear of bottom two, meaning that they are safe for now.
