Clermont
Roazhon Park will host Sunday’s Ligue 1 game between Rennes and Clermont, the two teams who were beaten by Toulouse and Marseille respectively at the weekend. Les Rouges et Noirs suffered a dip in form, but they must pick up all three points from the match if they are to book their spot in the Champions League. Even though important attacker Martin Terrier remains on the sidelines alongside Hamari Traore, Lorenz Assignon, and Xeka, home win should be considered.
Les Lanciers, on the other hand, are stuck in the middle of the table, and seeing that Rennes want this win more than Clermont, we are going to put our money on the home side. Saif-Eddine Khaoui is banned for the match, while both Alidu Seidu and Johan Gastien are sidelined with injuries. In the first half of the season Clermont defeated Rennes 2-1, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.

After spending first years of his senior career at Chateauroux, the 175-cm tall footballer joined Angers in 2016 and he has been playing for les Scoistes ever since.
Flavien Tait impressed in the 2017/2018 Ligue 1 campaign and it has to be noted that he scored 4 goals in 34 appearances for Angers in the process. His main position is winger, but he is often used as an attacking midfielder. Flavien Tait’s preferred foot is right and he wears No. 20 jersey at Angers.
His contract with les Scoistes should expire on June 30, 2020. It has to be noted that his market value was €4.5 million on June 4, 2018.Flavien Tait has yet to make his France debut.
