Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Valencia will be looking to put an end to their five-game losing run when they welcome Real Sociedad to their Estadio de Mestalla on Saturday evening. Los Che are low on confidence ahead of the visit of La Real, and, no doubt, boss Ruben Baraja is eager to record his first win on his new job. Samu Castillejo is back from suspension, but seeing that key attacker Edinson Cavani continues to miss out with injury, home win should not be considered.
The Basques, on the other hand, aim to stay in the Champions League berth, and we predict that they will take advantage of the current situation in Valencia’s dressing room. As for the visiting team, David Silva is a major doubt, while all Aritz Elustondo, Sadiq Umar, and Jon Pacheco miss out with injuries. Keep in mind, though, that Valencia and Real Sociedad have shared the spoils in each of their last four meetings in La Liga.
