Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Frosinone play host to Parma at their Stadio Benito Stirpe in what is expected to be an exciting Serie B game. The Canarini have been impressive on home soil of late, and it is no surprise the bookies see them as favourites to win Friday’s clash. Since Fabio Grosso has a full squad to choose from, home win should definitely be considered.
Meanwhile, the Gli Emiliani aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Ascoli, but seeing that Frosinone have turned their stadium into a real fortress, we do not believe that Gianluigi Buffon and Co. are capable of grabbing something from the match. Both Cobbaut and SOhm are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team. France international Gabriel Charpentier is widely expected to lead the line for the visiting side against Frosinone.
Highlighted Player (Marcus Rohden):
Marcus Rohden is a Sweden international who plays for Serie A side Crotone as a midfielder. Rohden started his football career at the youth team of Hossna IF and in 2007 he moved to IF Elfsborg. The Swede continued playing for the team at senior level and he scored 23 goals in 120 appearances in the league for Di Gule.
Marcus Rohden moved to Italy in 2016, signing a deal with Crotone and it has to be noted that he scored one goal, while providing four assists for his teammates in 34 appearances for the club in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign.
He made his debut for the Swedish national football team on January 15, 2015 in a 2-0 win over Ivory Coast and he scored on his debut. He was born in Varnamo (Sweden) on May 11, 1991 and his main position is defensive midfield. Marcus Rohden can play as both central midfielder and right midfielder as well if needed.
Highlighted Team (Parma):
Founded in 1913, Parma is considered one of the most famous Italian clubs. The Gialloblu play home games in white shirts with a dark blue cross and dark blue shorts. Speaking of their away colours, Parma footballers wear yellow-blue kits on the travels. Parma have yet to win the Serie A trophy, but they did well to lift the UEFA Cup trophy on two occasions (1994/1995, 1998/1999).
To make things even better for Parma fans, the Gialloblu won the European Cup Winners’ Cup in the 1992/1993 season, with the team beating Royal Antwerp in the title game 3-1. A number of top-class footballers played for Parma in the past: Hernan Crespo, Roberto Mancini, Juan Veron, Roberto Mancini, Dino Baggio, Fabio Cannavaro and Gianluigi Buffon.
The Gialloblu welcome their rivals at Stadio Ennio Tardini, which was opened in 1923. The venue can hold up to 27,906 spectators. Bologna are considered Parma’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
