Groningen
Feyenoord will be aiming to retain top position when they host Groningen to their De Kuip on Saturday evening. The Rotterdammers are determined to regain the domestic trophy, but reigning champions Ajax are still breathing down their neck. All Quinter Timber, Patrik Walemark, Justin Bijlow, and Sebastian Szymanski are sidelined with injuries, while Gernot Trauner is a major doubt.
De Trots van het Noorden, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Excelsior, and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their eleven-game winless run. Groningen, though, are not regarded as good travellers, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Feyenoord’s party at De Kuip. The visitors will be without Paulos Abraham, Oliver Antman, and Mads Bech Sorensen in Saturday’s encounter, while Nordin Musampa faces race against the clock to be fit for the match.

Born in Jirandeh, Iran on August 11 1990, Alireza Jahanbakhsh is a footballer who plays for AZ Alkmaar in Holland. Before AZ, Jahanbakhsh played for NEC in the Eredivisie, but he began his youth career at Payam Alborz Qazvin. Speaking of his senior debut, he made it with Damash Tehran in the 2010/2011 season.
In 2011 he moved to fellow Iranian club Damash Gilan and it has to be noted that he scored 10 goals in 44 appearances in the league for the club. The AZ Alkmaar winger, who is used as an attacking midfielder as well, scored 21 goals in 33 appearances in the Eredivisie in the 2017/2018 season. Speaking of his international career, Alireza JahanBakhsh scored two goals for Iran on the road to Russia and he will represent his homeland at the 2018 FIFA world cup finals.
Due to his style of play, Jahanbakhsh has always been compared to legendary Iranian footballer Mehdi Mahdavikia.

Groningen is a Dutch football clubs that competes in the Eredivisie. Founded on June 16, 1971, Groningen play home games at Euroborg. The venue was built by Ballas Nedam, Royal BAM Group and VolkerWessels, and it can hold up to 22,525 people.
The Trots van het Noorden (Pride of the North) are well known for their white home shirts with red stripes, while purple is the dominant colour of their away kit. Volendam are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, but they have a rivalry with Twente as well after the 1980s incidents between their fans.
