Gillingham and Tranmere square off against each other at Priestfield Stadium in the League Two round 36. The Gills failed to find the net in the previous three league fixtures, but Saturday’s clash could be the turning point for Neil Harris’ troops. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of the visit of Tranmere.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive. Tranmere want this win more than Gillingham, which is probably the main reason why we predict the visitors are going to pick up all three points from the match. Paul Lewis suffered an injury in a 1-1 draw with Hartlepool, with Jake Burton likely to step up. You should bear in mind that Tranmere defeated Stevenage thanks to Josh Hawkes’ goal in their last away game. Since Hawkes managed to find the net in the draw with the Pools as well, the opposition back-line should have him at bay.

The 173-cm-tall midfielder scored one goal in 36 appearances for the Eagles in the Premier League, finding the net in a 3-1 win over Sunderland on August 31, 2013. Stuart O’Keefe played for Blackpool on loan before moving to Cardiff City in the winter of 2015.
After his loan spells with Milton Keynes Dons, Portsmouth and Plymouth Argyle, O’Keefe moved to Gillingham at the end of the 2018/2019 season. He made his League One debut with the club on August 3, 2019 in a 1-1 draw with Doncaster Rovers. His main position is central midfield, but he is used as both defensive and attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
