Our prediction for this Champions League match:
The ground at Stadio San Siro will shake when Milan and Inter go head to head in the Derby della Madonnina in the Champions League semis. The Rossoneri head into the match following a 2-0 win over Lazio, but they are seen as the underdogs in the first leg. Pacey winger Rafael Leao should miss out with injury, while veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ineligible to face the Nerazzurri. Brahim Diaz is widely expected to return to the starting XI.
Inter, on the other hand, have been in a fine form of late, with the team winning each of their last four Serie A games. Considering that Leao-less Milan are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in Wednesday’s showdown, we believe that there is a big value in betting on under 2.5 goals. As for the nominal visitors, all Gosens, Skriniar, and Dalbert remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Sandro Tonali):
After starting his youth career at Piacenza back in 2009, Sandro Tonali moved to Brescia three years later. The 181-cm-tall defender has been playing for le Rondinelle ever since and it has to be noted that he made his debut with the Stadio Mario Rigamonti outfit on August 26, 2017 in a 2-1 defeat to Avellino.
Sandro Tonali scored his first ever league goal for Brescia in a 4-2 loss to Salernitana on April 28, 2018. The talented midfielder, who was born in Lodi on May 8, 2000, represents Italy U21 team in international matches.
He made his debut with the Italy U21 national team on June 19, 2019 in a 1-0 defeat to Poland. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a central midfielder as well. Sandro’s preferred foot is right and his contract with Brescia should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Inter):
Internazionale Milano, known as Internazionale, Inter or Inter named Milan, is a football club from Italy, founded on March 9, 1908 by a number of "rebels" who did not like in the regulations of the Milan Cricket and Football Club, now known as AC Milan. The main objection was that no foreign players were allowed. In 1928 the club merged with US Milanese and strongly entered a time when Ambrosiana-Inter survived.
The club, nicknamed the Nerazzurri or the blue / blacks has had many successes. This is how Inter Milan won 18 national titles, seven times the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup 3x, and 3x times the Champions League, formerly known as the European Cup I.
