Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
After failing to impress in the 2022/2023 Jupiler League campaign, Club Brugge will look to give fans something to cheer about when they face Aarhus in their Europa Conference League opener. Club Brugge were having their ups and downs in pre-season, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat Aarhus at their Jan Breydel Stadion. The club chiefs did well to sign the likes of Igor Thiago, Hugo Vetlesen, and Michal Skoras in the summer transfer window, but the likes of Clinton Mata, Noa Lang, and Abakar Sylla are no longer part of the team.
Uwe Rosler’s troops, on the other hand, kicked off the new Danish Superliga campaign with a hard-fought 1-0 win over ten-man Vejle, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against Club Brugge, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. Midfielder Kevin Yakob should miss out with injury for the away team.
