Vitesse and PSV will lock horns at GelreDome in a highly-anticipated Eredivisie game on Saturday. The Vitas did remarkably well to beat FC Volendam on the road in their opener, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against the title-chasing visitors. Marco van Ginkel should earn a spot in the starting XI after scoring a late winner at the weekend, whereas there are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of the visit of PSV.
Peter Bosz, on the other hand, is doing a great job with the Rood-witten, who rolled over Sturm Graz in the Champions League third qualifying round. Given PSV’s fine display in the season opener against Utrecht (2-0), we are tempted to put our money on the visiting team. A man to watch in the away side will be summer signing Noah Lang, who has already started paying off. Peter Bosz has a luxury to field the best possible starting XI against Vitesse.

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.

Nicknamed Vitas, the proud of Gelderland, Vitesse are a Dutch football club based in Arnhem. Vitesse compete in the Dutch Eredivisie and they have yet to win the national championship. However, they finished as runners-up in the Dutch elite division on five occasions (1897–98, 1902–03, 1912–13, 1913–14, 1914–15), while clinching third place in the standings in the 1997/1998 season.
Vitesse did remarkably well to win the 2016/2017 Dutch Cup title, with the team beating AZ Alkmaar in the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. As a result, the Vitas booked their place in the Europa League group stages where they face the likes of Lazio, Nice and Zulte-Waregem.
Vitesse are well known for their yellow jerseys with black stripes, while the club’s away colour is black. GelreDome is the home ground of the Dutch team and the capacity of the venue is 21.248. It has to be noted that famous Spanish footballer Albert Ferrer was in charge of the club in the 2010/2011 season.
