Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Following a 2-0 loss to Olympique Marseille, Brest will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Ligue 1 when they take on Rennes on Matchday 4. Les Pirates are tough to beat at home, but they will have a big fish to fry against les Rouges et Noirs. Defender Adrien Lebeau continues to miss out with a muscle injury, but he should be the only absentee in the home team.
Rennes, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 2-2 draw with Le Havre. Bruno Genesio’s troops are undefeated in the 2023/2024 Ligue 1 campaign and given their attacking potential, away win should be considered. Warmed Omari is out of contention with injury, but there are no suspended players in the visiting team. In their last meeting at the venue Rennes defeated Brest 2-1 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
