Colchester
Crewe play host to Colchester at their Alexandra Stadium in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. The Railwaymen have been scoring goals for fun of late and we predict that they will adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Colchester. Elliot Nevitt should earn a spot in the starting Xi after finding the net in each of the last two league matches, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The U’s, on the other hand, played out a 1-1 draw with Mansfield Town in their last league match. Colchester have been having their ups and downs of late, but they are surely capable of matching Crewe at Alexandra Stadium. The New Zealand international played for the likes of Crewe Alexandra, North Shore United and Ipswich Town during his youth career and he made his debut for the first team in Ipswich’s 2-1 defeat to Preston North End in the opening match of the 2008/2009 campaign.
Tommy Smith impressed in the 2013/2014 Championship campaign with the Tractor Boys as he scored 6 goals in 45 league appearances for the club. Speaking of his international career, Smith made his full New Zealand debut on 3 March, 2010 in a 2-0 loss to Mexico. He scored his first goal for the All Whites in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Fiji. Smith was born on 31 March 1990.

Founded back in 1877, Crewe Alexandra play their home games in red shirts and white shorts, while yellow is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The Railwaymen played their first game against North Staffs in 1877, with the two teams sharing the spoils (1-1) at Alexandra Recreation Ground.
