Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Nice will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games when they take on Brest in the Ligue 1 round 7. Les Aiglons did well to shock Monaco at Stade Louis II at the weekend, but it has to be noted that the hosts failed to convert two penalty kicks. Anyhow, Nice are high on confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash and they are surely capable of matching Brest in front of home fans. Summer signing Jeremie Boga is pushing for his first-start of the season after scoring the winner as a substitute against Monaco, while all Hichem Boudaoui, Claude Maurice, and Antoine Mendy are sidelined with injuries.
Les Pirates, meanwhile, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Reims and Lyon, but given Nice’s splendid form in the French top flight, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the Allianz Riviera showdown. Midfielder Mathias Pereira Lage should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Dante):
Dante is a left-footed defender who was born in Salvador, Brazil on 18 October, 1983. After impressing with the Fohlen in the 2011/2012 Bundesliga campaign he moved to Bayern Munich at the end of the season and it has to be noted that he scored three goals in 83 league appearances for FCB.
In 2015 he signed a contract with fellow Bundesliga team Wolfsburg and he played 24 league games for the Wolves in the 2015/2016 season. In 2013 he won the Champions League trophy with Bayern Munich and he lifted the FIFA Confederations Cup with Brazil the same year.

The club’s home colours are red and white, with the team wearing black kit when playing on the travels. Brest’s third kit is white.
