Real Sociedad and Mallorca face each other at Reale Arena in the opening match of Saturday’s program. La Real suffered a 2-1 loss to Atletico Madrid before the international window, but their three-game winning run at home is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of the visit of Mallorca. Scotland left-back Kieran Tierney has joined David Silva in the recovery room, while both Martin Merquelanz and Mohamed Ali Cho are major doubts. A man to watch in the home team will be in-form midfielder Brais Mendez, who was surprisingly omitted from the Spain squad.

Mikel Oyarzabal has spent the entirety of his senior career with the Basque behemoths where he’d use his ability to fill in a number of positions up top much to his own benefit.
