PSV will be looking to retain top position in the standings and keep their 100% record intact when they take on Fortuna Sittard on Saturday. The league leaders made a flying start to the season, but keep in mind that summer signing Noa Lang has joined Malik Tillman in the recovery room. Isaac Babadi is a major doubt and the talented winger will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
Sittard, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form and given their three-game losing run in the Dutch top flight, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. To make things even worse for the away team, forward Mouhamed Belkheir is banned for the match. The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.

Fortuna Sittard is one of the newer additions to Dutch football as the club was founded on July 1, 1968. During the 1990s talented footballers such as Kevin Hofland, Mark van Bommel, and Fernando Ricksen played for the club, but they failed to close the gap between Dutch giants Ajax and PSV. In 1999, though, the Fortunezen did well to make it to the Dutch Cup final, with the team facing Ajax in the title game.
