After shocking Fiorentina in the local derby, Empoli will look to escape the danger zone when they take on Atalanta on Matchday 10. The Azzurri have regained a much-needed confidence, but the bookies still see them as underdogs in Monday’s encounter. Defender Giuseppe Pezzella continues to miss out with a back injury, while midfielder Viktor Kovalenko is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
