Following a 1-1 draw with Granada before the international break, Getafe will look to return to winning ways in La Liga when they host Almeria to their Coliseum on Saturday afternoon. Los Azulones have a chance to climb to top ten in the standings and they are seen as hot favourites to beat the rock-bottom side in front of home fans. Serbia midfielder Nemanja Maksimovic is back from international duty, while Togo international Djene returns from suspension. All Jose Angel Carmona, Mauro Arambarri, and Enes Unal remain in the recovery room.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, are on a five-game losing run in the Spanish top flight and given their shaky defence, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s encounter. During two years in Spain Djene Dakonam made 59 league appearances before moving to Sint-Truidense. It was in Belgium that Djene Dakonam proved his defensive versatility and Getafe came calling the very next year, in 2017.
Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

UD Almeria is a Spanish club based in the autonomous community of Andalusia. Los Rojiblancos are one of the newer additions to the Spanish football system, with the club being founded on July 26, 1989.
Almeria suffered relegation to Segunda Division in the 2014/15 season, and they have been competing in the Spanish second tier ever since. Los Rojiblancos are well known for their white shirts with red stripes, while blue is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Sofiane Feghouli, Felipe Melo, Diego Alves, Veljko Paunovic, Aleix Vidal, Alvaro Negredo, Tomer Hemed, and Mate Bilic are some notable footballers who played for Almeria in the past.
