Following back-to-back defeats to Burton and Port Vale, Blackpool will look to return to winning ways in the League One when they take on Lincoln on Monday afternoon. The Seasiders are eager to stay in the playoffs berth and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against the Imps. Kyle Joseph is likely to replace Jake Beesley in the starting XI as the later suffered an injury in the last league match.
Lincoln, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their previous three League One fixtures and, taking everything into account, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Blackpool’s party at Bloomfield Road. To make things even worse for the away team, defender Paudie O’Connor is out of contention through suspension. In their last meeting at the venue Blackpool defeated Lincoln 2-1.

Chris Maxwell is a Welsh goalkeeper who was born in St Asaph on July 30, 1990. Maxwell began his youth career at Penrhyn Bay (1998-2000) and in 2000 he moved to Wrexham. The 188-cm-tall shoot-stopper made his first-team debut for Wrexham at the age of 18 and he played 76 league games for the club from 2008 to 2012.
During the 2008/2009 season he spent six months on loan at Welsh club Connah’s Quay Nomads and in 2012 he joined Fleetwood Town. Chris Maxwell made 110 appearances in the league for the Trawlermen and on May 16, 2016 he signed a three-year deal with Championship side Preston North End. You should know that he managed to keep clean sheets in 38 appearances for the Lilywhites in the 2016/2017 Championship campaign.
Due to his dual citizenship, Maxwell is capable of representing both Wales and Scotland at senior level, but he played for the Dragons at youth level, being capped for the U21 team 16 times.

Lincoln City are one of the oldest clubs competing in the League One as they were founded back in 1884. Lincoln City FC were established as an amateur association, but they turned professional in the 1891/1892 season.
Back then they played at John O’Gaunts stadium, but nowadays Sincil Bank is the club’s home ground. Sincil Bank was opened in 1895, holding up to 10,120 people. The club’s main colours are red, white and black, whilst the Imps wear green shirts and white shorts when playing on the road.
