Sparkles will be flying when Getafe and Sevilla square off against each other at Coliseum in the Copa del Rey last 16. Los Azulones did well to survive Espanyol in the previous round, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry against los Sevillanos. Midfielder Mauro Arambarri should be the only absentee in the home team, while defensive midfielder Djene is pushing for a recall to the starting XI.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, suffered a heart-breaking 3-2 loss to Alaves in their last league match and given the number of absentees in the visiting team, home win should be considered. Youssef En-Nesyri is on international duty, while all Dodi Lukebakio, Nemanja Gudelj, and Alfonso Pastor are sidelined with injuries. Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.
