Buoyed by a hard-fought 1-0 win over RWDM, Eupen will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Antwerp on Matchday 22. The Pandas kicked off 2024 in style, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to avoid relegation to the Belgian second tier. Barring any fresh injury worries, Florian Kohfeldt is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated RWDM at the weekend.
The title holders, on the other hand, produced a brilliant display in a 4-1 win over Charleroi and that is probably the main reason why away win should be considered. Yusuf Abdullahi is on international duty, while forward Ange Balikwisha remains on the sidelines with a knee injury. You should bear in mind that Antwerp emerged triumphant in each of the previous six meetings between the two sides.
