Celta Vigo
Following a 1-1 draw with Real Betis, Getafe will look to return to winning ways when they take on Celta Vigo in the La Liga round 24. Los Azulones aim to move closer to the playoffs Conference League berth, but Sunday’s game will be anything but a walk in the park for the capital club. Experienced midfielder Djene limped off with injury in the last league match, with Domingos Duarte likely to replace him in the starting XI.
The Galicians, on the other hand, produced a brilliant performance in a 3-0 win over Osasuna, but beating Getafe in the suburbs of Madrid is easier said than done. Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

Celta de Vigo is a Spanish football club from Vigo in the Galicia region. The club was founded in 1923 after a fusion between Real Club Fortuna de Vigo and Real Vigo Sporting.
