Mallorca and Real Sociedad square off against each other at Estadi Mallorca Son Moix in what is expected to be a close La Liga encounter. Los Bermellones continue with their old habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels and they must be high on confidence following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Rayo Vallecano. Vedat Muriqi should keep his place in the starting XI after scoring a late winner against los Vallecanos, while Cyle Larin is back from suspension.
The Basques, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Osasuna, but given their dreadful goalless drought in Primera Division, we are tempted to put our money on Javier Aguirre’s troops. In the first half of the season Real Sociedad defeated Mallorca at Reale Arena, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge. For a player born in Eibar, who made his first steps in his hometown club, it was always going to be a choice between Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad for Oyarzabal.
