Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Famalicao play host to Boavista at their Estadio Municipal de Famalicao in the closing match of the Primeira Liga round 24. Os Azuis e Brancos aim to recover from a 3-2 loss to Arouca and they are surely capable of beating Boavista, who failed to impress in their last league match. Bear in mind, though, that Panama forward Puma misses Monday’s clash through suspension.
As Panteras, on the other hand, failed to impress in back-to-back losses to Chaves and Braga. As Boavista experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 4-0 defeat to Ricardo Horta and Co, we are tempted to place our bets on the home side. As for the visitors, defender Chidozie Awaziem is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after making his return from injury at the weekend, while goalkeeper Cesar remains on the sidelines with an ACL injury.
Highlighted Team (Famalicao):
Founded on August 21, 1931, Famalicao are a Portuguese football club that compete in the Primeira Liga. The colour of their home kit is white, with the team wearing blue shirts and blue shorts when playing on the travels.
Famalicao welcome their rivals at Estadio Municipal 22 de Junho Vila Nova de Famalicao, the venue with the capacity of 5,307 people. The stadium was opened in 1952 and ever since has been serving as the team’s home ground. The Azuis e Brancos secured promotion to Primeira Liga for the first time in the 1946/1947 season and they returned to the Portuguese elite division in 2019. Famalicao recorded a 2-0 win over Santa Clara on their return to the Portuguese top flight, with Toni Martinez and Anderson finding the net for the visitors.
