New England Revolution will be aiming to record their first win of the 2024 MLS season when they take on Toronto at their Gillette Stadium. The Revs were not at their sharpest in a 3-1 loss at DC United, but it is well known that they produce much better showings at home than on the travels. Albania forward Giacomo Vrioni serves a one-game ban, while both Henry Kessler and Brandon Bye are out of contention with injuries.
The Reds, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Cincinnati in the opening match of their MLS campaign. As the Reds had no more than eight goal attempts in the TQL Stadium clash, we are going to bet on New England Revolution this time out. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be former Napoli ace Lorenzo Insigne, while all Jordan Perruzza, Deandre Kerr, Nicksoen Gomis, and Brandon Servania are sidelined with injuries.

Born in Frattamaggiore, Naples on June 4, 1991, Lorenzo Insigne is an Italian footballer who plays for his hometown club Napoli in the Serie A. Insigne is a product of Olimpia Sant’Arpino football school, but he joined the Partenopei at the age of 15.
The diminutive attacker scored his first ever goal in the Italian top flight on September 16, 2012 in a 3-1 win over Parma. Insigne, who played for the likes of Cavese, Foggia and Pescara on loan before returning to Naples, made his debut with the Italian national team on September 11, 2012 in the World Cup qualifier against Malta.
The Napoli forward scored his first ever goal for the Azzurri in a friendly against Argentina on August 14, 2013. His main position is left winger, but he is used as a second striker as well. Lorenzo Insigne has a contract with Napoli until June 30, 2022.

Unlike famous NFL club New England Patriots, the Revolution have yet to win the domestic trophy. New England participated five times in the MLS Cup final, but they were more than fortunate not to lift the silverware. The Revs played their last final in 2014, with the team losing to LA Galaxy in the title game at StubHub Center. New England Revolution, though, clinched the North American SuperLiga trophy in 2008 and that is considered as the club’s biggest success.
It has to be noted that the Revs defeated Houston Dynamo on penalties in the final of the tournament. New England Revolution were founded in 1994 and Gillette Stadium is the home ground of the club. Legendary defender Alexi Lalas played for the Revolution (1996-1997) and he scored three goals for the Gillette Stadium outfit. Fellow USA ace Clint Dempsey was part of the team as well and you should know that he netted 25 goals in 71 league appearances for the club.
