Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
Thursday’s Conference League game at Merkur-Arena pits together Sturm Graz and Lille, the two teams who meet for the first time in the competition. Sturm are brimming with confidence ahead of the first leg as they rolled over Wolfsberger 4-0 in their last league match, but they are still seen as underdogs in the double-headers with Lille. Both Seedy Jatta and Kjell Scherpen are sidelined with injuries for the home side.
Les Dogues, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Reims. Sturm Graz, though, are tough to beat at home and that is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on draw this time out. All Adam Ounas, Tiago Morais, Remy Cabella, Rafael Fernandes, Samuel Umtiti, and Ivan Cavaleiro should miss out through injuries for the visiting team, while Turkey midfielder Yusuf Yazici is pushing for a recall to the starting XI.
