Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
All eyes will be on Lotto Park when St Gilloise and Fenerbahce in an eagerly-awaited Conference League clash on Thursday evening. The Jupiler League leaders are enjoying yet another successful season and their five-game winning run in all competitions is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Fenerbahce. Ecuador midfielder Kevin Rodriguez remains in the recovery room, whereas Charles Vanhoutte is back from the Conference League ban.
Ismail Kartal’s troops, on the other hand, are still in a two-horse race with Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig, but they have big ambitions for the Conference League playoffs as well. Given Fener’s attacking potential with the likes of Edin Dzeko, Dusan Tadic, and Cengiz Under up front, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Defender Alexander Djiku is back from the domestic ban, while Ifran Can Kahveci, Luan Peres, and Joshua King should miss out with injuries.
