Salford will be aiming to put an end to their five-game winless run when they take on Morecambe on Matchday 39. The Lions dropped a two-goal advantage in the 2-2 draw with Stockport on Thursday evening, but they are still seen as favourites to beat the Shrimps on home soil. Callum Hendry is widely expected to replace Luke Garbutt in the starting XI as the 30-year-old defender limped off with injury in the midweek draw.
Morecambe, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-3 loss to Newport County and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Salford’s party at Peninsula Stadium. There are no fresh injury worries in the visiting team. The opposition back-line should have Gwion Edwards at bay as the Wales forward scored a brace in the last league match.
