St. Andrew’s Stadium will host Monday’s football game between Birmingham City and Preston, the two teams with entirely different ambitions for the season finale. The Blues are desperate to secure the Championship survival, but given their four-game losing run in the league, home win should not be considered. Japan midfielder Koji Miyoshi is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while both Marc Roberts and Alfie Chang are out of contention with injuries.
The Lilywhites, on the other hand, proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Plymouth and Rotherham United and we predict that they are going to take advantage of Birmingham City’s current form in the Championship. Creg Cunningham did well to win the Football League Trophy with Bristol City in the 2014/2015 season, but at the end of the season he moved to Preston North End.
