Our prediction for this Europa League match:
AC Milan will be aiming to extend their winning run to eight games in all competitions when they host AS Roma to their Stadio San Siro in the Europa League quarter-finals, first leg. The Rossoneri faced no difficulties in a 3-0 win over Lecce at the weekend, with the team retaining second place in the Serie A standings and it is no wonder the odds for home win have been dropping. Midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is back from the domestic ban, while all Malick Thiaw, Pierre Kalulu, Alex Jimenez, and Tommaso Pobega are out of contention with injuries. Fikayo Tomori is banned for the match.
The Giallorossi, on the other hand, are brimming with confidence following a hard-fought 1-0 win in the Derby della Capitale, but they will have a mountain to climb in Milano. Daniele De Rossi’s troops, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling AC Milan’s party at Stadio San Siro. Evan Ndicka is sidelined through suspension, while Sardar Azmoun remains in the recovery room.
