Our prediction for this MLS match:
BC Place will host Sunday’s MLS game between Vancouver Whitecaps and Los Angeles FC, the two teams who are vying for top position in the Western Conference. The Canadians proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Portland Timbers and Toronto FC and, as a result the bookies see them as favourites to beat Galaxy on home soil. Barring any fresh injury worries, Vanni Sartini is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Reds 4-0 at the weekend.
Los Angeles Galaxy, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to Los Angeles FC in the local derby and given their three-game winless run against Vancouver, we predict that the visitors are going to return home with their hands empty. Forward Miguel Berry is pushing for a recalls to the starting eleven, while midfielder Lorenzo Dellavalle should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Martin Caceres):

Martin Caceres is a widely travelled and well known Uruguayan professional footballer who plays for Juventus. Primarily a central defender, Caceres is known for his tenacity, pace, strength, tackling and aerial ability. He is versatile and can operate as full-back on either sides too. Caceres started his career at Defensor Sporting and became a regular at a very young age.
In 2007, he went to Spanish side Villarreal but never officially appeared for them. He then was snapped up by Barcelona in 2008 for a reported transfer fee of € 16.5 million. But his only season at the Camp Nou was marred with injuries and moved to Juventus in 2012 via a short stop at Sevilla.
Caceres made his full senior team debut in 2007 and was a successful member of the team that won the 2011 Copa America. He also played at the 2014 World Cup and has 68 national caps to his credit.

Vancouver Whitecaps are yet another Canadian side that compete in Major League Soccer. Vancouver began play in the USA top flight in 2011 and one year later they became the first Canadian outfit to book their place in the MLS Cup play-offs. However, star-studded Los Angeles Galaxy proved to be a big catch for the Whitecaps in the knockout round. Vancouver, though, did remarkably well to win the Canadian Championship in 2015, with the team beating Montreal Impact in the title game.
In 2016 they made it to the final of the tournament as well, but Toronto FC eventually won the trophy. The Whitecaps are owned by Greg Kerfoot, Steve Luczo, Jeff Mallett and Steve Steve Nash, the former NBA star, and they play their home matches at BC Place. Speaking of MLS games, the capacity of the venue is 22.120 and you should know that the stadium was opened back in 1983. The Caps wear white shirts and white shorts when playing at home, while the colour of their away kit is blue.
