The Citizens set up a meeting with their local rivals by beating Chelsea in the semis and they must be high on confidence after managing to defend their Premier League trophy. Nathan Ake is pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while first-choice goalkeeper Ederson misses out with an eye injury.
The Red Devils, meanwhile, aim to save the season by clinching their 13th FA Cup trophy, but they will have a mountain to climb in Sunday’s showdown. As Pep Guardiola can count on key players for the decider, we are tempted to place our bets on the star-studded Citizens. Bruno Fernandes is a Portuguese footballer who used to play for Novara before joining Udinese in a co-ownership deal in the summer of 2013. The Portuguese midfielder scored his first goal for the club in a 3-3 draw with Napoli on 7 December, 2013.
Three years later he signed a deal with Sampdoria for a fee of €7 million. Fernandes moved to Sampdoria in order to replace Roberto who reinforced Villarreal. Fernandes is a central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a secondary striker as well. He was born in Maia, Portugal on 8 September, 1994 and he began his youth career at Infesta. Fernandes has seven caps for Portugal U21 team and he has played 4 matches for the U23 team.
