Monday’s football game between Sevilla and Barcelona will bring down the curtain on the 2023/2024 La Liga campaign. Sevilla aim to make amends for the unsuccessful Primera Division season, but given their three-game losing run in the league, home win should not be considered. Boubakary Soumare is back from suspension, while the likes of Oliver Torres, Nemanja Gudelj, Erik Lamela, Suso, Djibril Sow, and Isaac Romero remain on the sidelines with injuries.
Barca, on the other hand, recorded a routine 3-0 win over Rayo Vallecano to clinch second place in the standings. As Xavi’s men obviously want to finish the season in style, away win should be considered. You should bear in mind that Barcelona are eyeing their fifth consecutive win over Sevilla. Aston Villa target Ronald Araujo is pushing for a start, whilst Frenkie De Jong continues to miss out with an ankle problem.

After scoring 36 goals in 59 league games for Znicz Pruskow, Robert Lewandowski joined Lech Poznan in June, 2008. The 184-cm-tall attacker scored 18 goals in 28 appearances for the club in the 2009/2010 Ekstraklasa campaign and during the season he was on Borussia Dortmund’s radar.

Lewandowski impressed in the 2016/2017 Bundesliga campaign as he scored 30 goals in 32 league games for Pep Guardiola’s troops. The Polish footballer represented his homeland at Euro 2016 in France and he scored one goal at the showpiece tournament in France.
