Stadium of Light will be the centre of attention when Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday go head to head in the closing match of round 2. The Black Cats did well to beat Cardiff City in their opener, but they face a tough challenge against the Owls in Sunday’s matinee. Both Daniel Ballard and Jenson Seelt remain in the recovery room, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
Meanwhile, the Owls kicked off the new Championship campaign with a thrilling 4-0 win over Plymouth, with the team eliminating Hull City in the EFL Cup. Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland seem to be evenly matched at the moment and, taking everything into account, there is a big value in betting on draw. Goalkeeper Ben Hamer remains on the sidelines with injury, while Sunderland back-line should have summer signing Jamal Lowe at bay.

Born in Hull, England on January 9, 1994, John Windass is a professional footballer who plays for Wigan Athletic. Windass is a product of Huddersfield Town youth academy, but he did not play for the Terriers at senior level.
The 175-cm-tall midfielder began his senior career at Accrington Stanley and after scoring 22 goals in 77 appearances in the league for the club, he moved to Glasgow Rangers in the summer of 2016. Two years later Josh Windass joined Wigan Athletic and he has been playing for the DW Stadium outfit ever since. He scored his first Championship goal on September 18, 2018 in a 2-1 win over Hull City.
His main position is attacking midfield, but he is used as both central midfielder and second striker as well. It has to be noted that Josh is the son of former footballer Dean Windass, who played for the likes of Hull City, Middlesbrough, Sheffield United and Bradford City during his professional career.

The capacity of the stadium is 49,000, but before expansion the original ground capacity was 42,000.
