Real Sociedad welcome Rayo Vallecano at their Reale Arena in what is expected to be an interesting season opener. La Real failed to impress in preseason, but they are still seen as hot favourites to beat los Vallecanos in front of home fans. Big-money signing Luka Sucic is widely expected to make his La Liga debut against Rayo, while key defender Robin Le Normand has joined Atletico Madrid for a fee of €34.50m.
The capital club, meanwhile, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Wolverhampton. Real Sociedad, though, are a real force to be reckoned with at home and we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from Sunday’s game.
