Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Having shared the spoils with Catanzaro in their Serie B opener, Sassuolo will look to record their first win of the season when they welcome Cesena to their Mapei Stadium – Citta del Tricolore on Saturday evening. The Neroverdi are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but bear in mind that key forward Domenico Berardi remains on the sidelines with an ACL injury. In his absence, a man to watch in the home team will be Samuele Mulattieri, who opened his goal-scoring account at the weekend.
The Bianconeri, on the other hand, are eyeing their fourth consecutive win in all competitions, but Sassuolo should pose a much bigger threat for the visiting side than their previous rivals. The opposition back-line should have talented Albania attacker Cristian Shpendi at bay as the 21-year-old scored a brace in a 2-1 win over Carrarese at the weekend. Anyhow, home win should be considered as over the years the Neroverdi have turned their Citta del Tricolore into a real fortress.
