Toronto FC
Houston Dynamo will look to recover from the League Cup loss to Toluca when they take on Toronto FC on Sunday morning. The Orange Crush are eyeing their third consecutive MLS win in a row, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Colombia forward Nelson Quinones remains on the sidelines with a knee injury, but there are no suspended players in the home team ahead of the visit of Toronto FC.
The Reds, on the other hand, were having their ups and downs before the summer break, with the team beating both Philadelphia and Montreal, while losing to Columbus and Inter Miami. Toronto FC, though, have suffered four defeats in the previous five away league games, which is a strong argument for favoring the home team. Defender Raoul Petretta is banned for the visiting side, which goes in favour of our earlier prediction.
Highlighted Player (Hector Herrera):
Mexico international Hector Herrera is a 26-year-old midfielder playing for Portugal giants FC Porto. Herrera began his career with Pachuca in 2010 and spent three years at the club before being sold to Porto. During his first season with the Dragons Herrera struggled for playing time, but he went on to cement his place in the starting eleven, becoming one of the most valuable players for the club.
Herrera has since them racked up over 110 performances for the Portugal side, scoring over 20 goals in the process. Full Mexico international since 2012, Hector Herrera represented his country at the 2014 World Cup.
During the summer of 2016 Herrera was heavily linked with a move away from Porto and was reported to have made a personal agreement with Italian side Napoli, but the €25 million asking price proved to be a stumbling block that ended up ruining the deal.

Toronto is a club based in Canada, but they have been competing in Major League Soccer since 2007. Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment own both the soccer club and National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs. BMO Field is the club’s home ground and the capacity of the stadium is 30.000.
The Canadian outfit impressed in the 2016 MLS Cup and they faced Seattle Sounders in the title game at BMO Field. However, the Canadians were more than unfortunate not to lift the silverware as they were beaten by the Sounders on penalties.
Speaking of the Canadian Championship, Toronto FC won their fifth domestic title in 2016, with the team beating Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of the tournament. Montreal Impact are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in meetings between the two Canadian sides. Toronto FC’s home kit is red and it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Reds. It has to be noted that the club was founded back in 2005.
