Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Doncaster will try to make amends for a massive 3-0 loss to Chesterfield when they face Barrow in an eagerly-awaited League Two game. The Donny have been struggling the form from the last season finale, but they are still seen as favourites to win Tuesday’s clash. Veteran Billy Sharp is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while midfielder Luke Molyneux misses out through suspension.
The Bluebirds, on the other hand, have yet to recover from a heavy EFL Cup loss (0-5) to Chelsea and given their poor defensive display in a 2-0 defeat to Gillingham, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in the midweek clash. In their last meeting at Eco-Power Stadium Doncaster defeated Barrow 4-2 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. Bluebirds forward Katia Kouyate is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the last league match.
