Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
Augsburg play host to Bochum at their WWK Arena on day 12 of the new Bundesliga campaign. Augsburg aim to recover from a 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich in the Bavarian derby and they are surely capable of matching Bochum in front of home fans. Defender Keven Schlotterbeck serves a one-game ban, while Dimitrios Giannoulis has joined the likes of Kristijan Jakic, Tim Breithaupt, and Fredrik Jensen in the recovery room. Mads Pedersen is widely expected to replace Giannoulis in the recovery room.
Dieter Hecking’s men, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only two points on their account. As Bochum have suffered a loss in each of their six away games in the German top flight this term, we are tempted to put our money on Augsburg. Forward Myron Boadu remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Fredrik Jensen):
Fredrik Jensen is a Norwegian footballer who plays for Belgian side Zulte Waregem as a midfielder. Jensen started his senior career at Odd and he made no less than 129 appearances for the Norwegian club (league) from 2012 to 2017. The 185-cm tall player then decided to take a step forward in his career and he joined Zulte Waregem in the summer of 2017.
Fredrik Jensen signed a four-year deal with the Belgian outfit and his contract should expire on June 30, 2021. Jensen’s main position is defensive midfield, but he is used as a central midfielder as well. The Zulte Waregem footballer, whose preferred foot is right, has yet to make his debut for Norway at senior level.
Fredrik Jensen made his Zulte Waregem debut in a thrilling 5-0 win over Eupen, with the Norwegian midfielder coming as a substitute for Onur Kaya in the dying minutes of the match. Jensen was born in Skien, Norway on May 18, 1993.
Highlighted Team (Augsburg):
Augsburg are a German football club founded in Augsburg, Bavaria back in 1907. Die Fuggerstadter play in German Bundesliga and with 12,200 members they are regarded as the largest football club in Bavaria. Augsburg wear white shirts and they host their rivals at WWK ARENA.
The capacity of the stadium is 30,660 and it has been the home of Augsburg since 2009. Augsburg won the Schwaben Cup 13 times and it has to be noted that they were promoted to the Bundesliga for the first time in 2011.
The club qualified for the Europa League 2015/2016 group stages and thanks to a 3-1 win over Partizan in Belgrade they booked their place in the last 32. However, Liverpool proved to be a big catch for the German outfit in the Europa League knockout stages.
Die Fuggerstadter’s main rivals are TSV 1860 Munich and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other.
