Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Velodrome will be the centre of attention when Olympique Marseille and Nantes lock horns in the Ligue 1 round 24. OM aim to bounce back from a heavy 3-0 loss to Auxerre and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Nantes. You should know that Roberto de Zerbi’s men rolled over St Etienne 5-1 in their last home game. Derek Cornelius serves a one-game ban, but fellow defender Leonardo Balerdi is back from suspension.
Les Canaris, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 win over Lens. Nantes, though, are not regarded as good travellers and given their poor defensive display in a 7-1 loss at Monaco, home win should be considered. In their last encounter at Stade Velodrome, Olympique Marseille recorded a 2-0 win over Nantes, who welcome midfielder Pedro Chirivella back from suspension. Duo Tino Kadewere – Nathan Zeze, though, remains in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Pierre-Emile Höjbjerg):

After spending his first year playing for the Munich reserves, the midfielder made his maiden professional appearance the following season, in a Bundesliga game against FC Nurnberg on the 13th of April. Hojbjerg's next spell came at FC Augsburg, who signed him on a six-month loan from the Bavarians in January 2015. The same year, he scored his first-ever professional goal that came in a 2-1 away loss to Paderborn 07 on the 11th of April. The following season, he was loaned out again, this time to Schalke 04 for a whole season.
In a move that would mark the end of his stint in German Football, Hojbjerg joined Premier league club Southampton in 2016 on a transfer worth 13 million euros. He's currently on a five-year contract with the Saints. At the International level, the 24-year-old represented Denmark at every iteration of the youth level before making his senior debut on the 28th of May, 2014, in a friendly against Sweden.
Highlighted Team (Nantes):

Founded on April 21, 1943 Nantes is a professional football club that compete in French Ligue 1. Les Canaris are considered one of the most famous French clubs and they had a lot of success during the sixties and the seventies. Nantes won their first Ligue 1 title in the 1964/1965 season and 36 years later (2000/2001) they clinched their eighth (last) domestic trophy.
Speaking of the club’s European success, les Canaris did well to make it to the Champions League semis in 1996, but Italian giants Juventus proved to be a big catch for the French outfit. Nantes welcome their rivals at La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau and the capacity of the stadium is 38.004.
The likes of Vahid Halilhodzic, Adel Selimi, Michel Der Zakarian, Viorel Moldovan, Mario Yepes, Marcel Desailly, Didier Deschamps, Claude Makelele, Christian Karembeu and Dimitri Payet are the notable footballers who played for the club in the past. Nantes are well known for their yellow jerseys and that is the reason why they are nicknamed the Canaries (les Canaris).
