Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
PSV will try to recover from an embarrassing 7-1 loss to Arsenal when they take on Heerenveen in the Eredivisie round 25. PSV do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the last four league matches, but Saturday’s encounter could be the turning point for Peter Bosz’s troops. As Bosz is expected to shuffle his pack following the heavy defeat to Arsenal, all Bakayoko, Obispo, and Veerman should be recalled to the starting XI.
Heerenveen, on the other hand, did well to beat AZ Alkmaar 3-1 in their last league match, but given their negative record at Philips Stadion, we are tempted to bet on the promotion-chasing hosts. In their last meeting in Eindhoven, PSV recorded a 2-0 win over Heerenveen, which goes in favour of our earlier prediction. Both Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Sam Kersten are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Luuk de Jong):

The 26-year-old Dutch striker Luuk de Jong is considered one of Europe’s deadliest strikers with his incredible return of goals in games he spends playing. Luuk de Jong began his football career at De Graafschap in 2008, but moved on to Twente only a year later.
The tally of 39 goals in 76 league appearances earned him a transfer to Borussia Monchengladbach, but his spell in Germany ended in disappointment. Bundesliga club attempted to revive his career by sending him out on loan to Newcastle United but his stint with the English club yielded even more disappointment and concluded in utter disaster with De Jong playing 12 games without scoring a single goal for the Magpies.
A return to Netherlands and PSV Eindhoven turned out to be a proper hit for the 26-year-old striker who has restored his scoring touch with more than 50 goals for the Boeren after less than 90 games.
Highlighted Team (Heerenveen):

Heerenveen is a Dutch football club that is well known for their white shirts with blue stripes. De Superfriezen (The Super Frisians) play home matches at Abe Lenstra Stadium, which has the capacity of 26,400 people.
Heerenveen have yet to win the Eredivisie title, but they impressed in the 1999/00 season, with the team finishing the process in second position in the standings. Thanks to a top-two finish, the club booked their place in the Champions League. Heerenveen, though, recorded only one in the group stages of the elite competition as they defeated Olympiakos 1-0 at home ground. De Superfizien retain a fierce rivals with Cambuur, and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
It has to be noted that Heerenveen won the Dutch Cup in the 2008/09 season, with the team beating Twente on penalties in the title game. New Chelsea signing Hakim Ziyech played for Heerenveen at the start of his senior career.
