Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Zwolle will try to claim a major scalp in the Eredivisie round 25 when they take on Ajax on Sunday afternoon. Zwolle do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the last four league matches and they must be low on confidence following a 4-2 loss to Heracles. Cape Verde midfielder Jamiro Monteiro is banned for the match, which is yet another reason why home win should not be considered.
The Amsterdammers, on the other hand, look unstoppable at the moment, with the team leading the chase for their 37th Eredivisie trophy. Francesco Farioli is doing a great job with the Johan Cruijff Arena outfit and given Zwolle’s shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the league leaders. Experienced midfielder Davy Klaassen is back from the Europa League ban, while all Wout Weghorst, Christian Rasmussen, and Youri Regeer should miss out with injuries for the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Steven Berghuis):

Born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands on December 19, 1991, Steven Berghuis is a Dutch winger who plays for Ajax in the Eredivisie. Berghuis played for the likes of Vitesse/AGOVV, WSV Apeldoorn, and Go Ahead Eagles during his youth career before joining Twente in 2009.
The 183-cm-tall footballer continued playing for the Reds at senior level. After ending his loan spell with VVV-Venlo, Steven Berghuis joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2012, and three years later signed a deal with the Premier League club Watford. After making no more than nine appearances in the English top flight, Berghuis moved to Feyenoord in August 2016, and he has been playing De club aan de Maas ever since.
His main position is right winger, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both left winger and attacking midfielder as well. He made his Netherlands debut on May 27, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.
Highlighted Team (Zwolle):

Founded on June 12, 1910, PEC Zwolle is a Dutch football club which competes in the Eredivisie. Zwolle have yet to win the national championship, but they did remarkably well to lift the Dutch Cup trophy in 2014. Ron Jans’s troops impressed in the title game, with the team rolling over Dutch giants Ajax 5-1.
The Blauwingers play their home games at MACPARK Stadion, the venue with the capacity of 14,000 people. The multi-use stadium was opened on August 29, 2009. Zwolle’s home kit is blue and white, while the colour of their away jersey is green and white. In the 2014/15 season the Blauwingers represented the Netherlands in the Europa League, with the team losing to Sparta Prague in the play-off round.
The likes of Henk Timmer (237), Johan Hansma (231), Bert Konterman (219), Arne Slot (208), and Jasper Drost (182) are the players with the most league appearances for the club. Go Ahead Eagles are considered the club’s biggest rivals as both teams are located at the river Ijssel.
