Buoyed by the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest, Manchester City will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Wolverhampton in the Premier League round 35. The Citizens are eyeing a spot in the Champions League and their fine form in April must be fuelling fans with optimism ahead of Friday’s clash. In Erling Haaland’s absence, January signing Omar Marmoush will continue leading the line for the hosts.
The likes of John Stones, Nathan Ake, and Rodri remain in the recovery room. The Wolves, on the other hand, are on a six-game winning run in the national championship. Wolverhampton, though, have already secure the Premier League survival, meaning that they have little to play for against Man City. Given Manchester City’s need for points, home win should be considered. Defender Yerson Mosquera is the only absentee in the away team.

Born to Croatian parents in Linz, Austria, Mateo Kovacic spent seven years in the LASK Linz youth academy before joining Dinamo Zagreb, where he showed a great deal of potential shortly after being promoted to the senior squad.
The good return of 7 goals in 43 league appearances saw him secure a high-profile move to Inter Milan, where he acted as both holding midfielder and attacking midfielder, during the three years at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. And despite not exactly impressing in Italy, Kovacic was purchased by mighty Real Madrid, where he has been ever since. The youngster is widely regarded as one of Croatia’s most talented footballers at the moment and he has represented the country on international stage since the age of 19.
In just three years he managed to make over 25 appearances for the national team, playing at the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 finals for Vatreni. Kovavic has yet to be given a real chance to impress at Real Madrid, but he has entire future ahead of him.

Wolverhampton are a club that was originally known as St. Luke’s FC. The Wolves play in the Championship and they were founded in 1877. Molineux is the home ground of Wolverhampton and the capacity of the stadium is 31,700. Wolverhampton have won four FA Cup trophies (1893, 1908, 1949, 1960), with the team lifting the League Cup trophy in 1974 and 1980.
The colour of the club’s shirts is orange and they wear black shorts. The Wolves wear blue jerseys when playing away from home. Wolverhampton’s main rivals are West Bromwich Albion and they have been facing each other in the Black Country derby since 1888.
