After rolling over Rabotnicki in round 1, Zhodino will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Maccabi Haifa in the Conference League second qualifying round, first leg. Zhodino look unstoppable at the moment, with the team producing excellent performances in all competitions, but they still face a difficult task against Maccabi Haifa.
The Israelis suffered a 2-0 loss to Beitar Jerusalem in the Toto Cup at the weekend and, no doubt, they are eager to get back on course as soon as possible. As Thursday’s game will be played on neutral location (Hungary), we do not believe that Maccabi will have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. A man to watch in the away team will be summer signing Jelle Bataille, who is widely expected to help the Greens improve their game.
