After defeating GKS Katowice 1-0 in their Ekstraklasa opener, Rakow will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Zilina in the Conference League second qualifying round, first leg. The Poles are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they will have to showcase their worth on the field. A man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Jonathan Braun Brunes, who scored the winner against GKS Katowice.
The Slovaks, meanwhile, have been struggling in pre-season, with the team losing each of their last four warm-up games. Given Zilina’s defensive struggles, we predict that Rakow are going to emerge triumphant in the first leg.
