Reading play host to Huddersfield Town at their Select Car Leasing Stadium in the League One round 2. The Royals aim to bounce back from a 2-0 loss to Lincoln and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Terriers on Saturday afternoon. Even though there are no fresh injury worries in the home team, both Liam Fraser and Daniel Kyerewaa are in line for recalls to the starting XI. Huddersfield, on the other hand, rolled over Leyton Orient 3-0 in the opening match of their League One campaign.
The Terriers aim to give fans yet another reason to celebrate, but beating Reading at Select Car Leasing Stadium is easier said than done. Therefore, we are tempted to place our bets on draw. In their last meeting in the League One, the two teams played out a goalless draw, which definitely supports our betting prediction. Reading FC is a professional football club that play in the Championship. The club was formed in 1871 and Madejski Stadium has been the home of Reading since 1998. The Royals used to play their home games at Elm Park in the past (1896 - 1998). Reading made it to the FA Cup semi-finals on two occasions (1927, 2015), but they have yet to win the prestigious trophy.
The likes of Robin Friday, Trevor Senior, Steve Death, Shaka Hislop, Phil Parkinson, Alf Messer, Jimmy Quinn, Michael Gilkes, Ronnie Blackman, Pavel Pogrebnyak and Martin Hicks are some of their more notable footballers. Aldershot Town were considered Reading’s fiercest rivals, but the Shots went out of business in 1992.
