Astana
Lausanne will be aiming to recover from a 2-1 loss to Thun when they host Astana to their Stade de la Tuiliere on Thursday evening. Laussane hammered Vardar 5-0 at home to book their spot in the Conference League third qualifying round. Kevin Mouanga is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in a 2-1 loss to Thun, while all Abdallah, de la Fuente, Kana-Biyik, and Sanches remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The Kazakhs, on the other hand, did well to eliminate Zimbru Chisinau in the Conference League second qualifying round. Astana aim to give fans yet another reason to celebrate, but with Laussane being a real force to be reckoned with at home, we predict that the visitors are going to return to Kazakhstan empty-handed. Both Victor Stina and Vladimir Fratea are pushing for recalls to the starting XI.

Astana are a Kazakh football club which was founded in 2009. The Blue and Yellows won their first domestic trophy in 2014, with the team finishing the regular part of the season in third place in the standings. However, thanks to their brilliant displays in the Championship round Astana won the national championship.
