Feyenoord will be looking to build on a thrilling 4-0 win over Wolfsburg when they face NAC Breda in the opening match of their Eredivisie campaign. Feyenoord suffered three defeats in preseason, but the bookies still see them as hot favourites to win Saturday’s clash. It has to be noted that the likes of Sem Steijn, Goncalo Borges, Luciano Valente, and Tsuyoshi Watanabe have joined the Rotterdammers in the summer transfer window.
NAC Breda, on the other hand, are on a three-game losing run at De Kuip. As the Yellow-Blacks are not regarded as good travellers, we do not believe that they are capable of claiming a major scalp on Matchday 1. A man to watch in the away team will be summer recruit Moussa Soumano, who played for Ajaccio last season. In their last meeting at De Kuip, Feyenoord recorded a 2-0 win over NAC Breda.
