Our prediction for this Premier League match:
City Ground will be the centre of attention when Nottingham Forest and Brentford face each other in the Premier League round 1. The Reds enjoyed a very successful 2024/2025 Premier League campaign, with the team booking their spot in the Europa League, but it has to be noted that the likes of Anthony Elanga, Danilo, Ramon Sosa, and Andrew Omobamidele are no longer parts of the team. Big-money signing Dan Ndoye is expected to make a big impact on the team in the new season.
The Bees, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Borussia M’gladbach in their last warm-up game. As key player Bryan Mbeumo joined Manchester United earlier this summer, we are tempted to place our bets on Nottingham Forest, who are a real force to be reckoned with at home. Midfielder Vitaly Janelt misses the season opener with a heel injury.
Highlighted Player (Ibrahim Sangaré):

Ibrahim Sangare is an Ivorian professional football player who plays for Toulouse in the first tier of French Football. Standing at 1.91m, the defensive midfielder is known for his "big presence" and " tackling."Sangare started his youth career with Ivorian clubs Tout Koumassi and AS Duenguele and spent a cumulative of five years with the clubs.
In 2016, he left Ivory Coast to join the French club Toulouse FC on an initial one year contract, which later extended to five years. After spending his first few months in the reserve team, Sangare broke into the first team set up as the season progressed. He made his professional debut on the 22nd of October, 2016, in Toulouse's 0-0 league draw with SCO Angers.
As of today, Sangare made 66 appearances for the club in all competitions. Born on the 2nd of December 1997, the 21-year-old has represented Ivory Coast at the under-23 level and the senior level, debuting for both in the year 2015.
Highlighted Team (Brentford):

Based in London, Brentford compete in the Championship and they were founded in 1898. Griffin Park has been the home ground of the club since 1904 and the capacity of the venue is 12,300.
The Bees have yet to play in the Premier League and it has to be noted that they made it to the FA Cup sixth round on four occasions (1937/1938, 1945/1946,1948/1949, 1988/1989). Brentford played in the League Cup round 4 in the 1982/1983 and 2010/2011 season and that is the club’s biggest success in the competition.
Brentford’s main rivals are Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and they take on each other in the West London Derby. The rivalry with the Cottagers is probably the biggest and you should bear in mind that the clashes between the two teams have their history of crowd violence. The colour of Brentford’s shirts is red and white and they wear black shorts.
