All eyes will be on Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes when Argentina and Colombia face each other in a highly-anticipated World Cup qualifier. La Albiceleste aim to build on a 2-1 win over Chile where Leo Messi set out, and there is every chance Lautaro Martinez will continue to lead the line for the hosts. Messi is a major doubt, while Palacios, Dominguez, and Foyth have been ruled out with injuries.
Los Cafeteros, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Peru where they failed to turn their dominance into goals. Considering that both Duvan Zapata and Luis Muriel are sidelined with injuries, we predict that Argentina are going to seal their spot at the 2022 World Cup finals. A man to keep an eye on in the away side will be James Rodriguez, who has netted 23 goals for the Colombia national team to date.

Lionel Messi is regarded as one of the best players in the history of football. He was born on 24 June, 1987 in Rosario and he began his football career at Newell’s Old Boys. Jose Pekerman’s team has also been named the Fair Play team at the same event.
The fans were pretty disappointed to see their team reach the quarter-final stage at the 2015 Copa America though as Colombia crashed out in disappointing fashion losing to Argentina after a penalty kick. Radamel Falcao remains the most prominent star of the current team despite his poor spells with Manchester United and Chelsea respectively. Monaco striker is also the team’s top scorer with 25 goals added to his name.
