Our prediction for this Belgium Pro League match:
Kortrijk and Cercle Brugge square off against each other at Guldensporen Stadion in what is expected to be a very entertaining game. Kortrijk kicked off 2021 with a 2-1 win over Genk, but they head into Saturday’s match following back-to-back losses to Oostende and St. Truiden. De Kerels, though, were more than unfortunate not to grab something from their last league fixture, with the team having almost 30 goal attempts in the defeat to St. Truiden.
Even though D’Haene and Deman are sidelined with injuries, we believe that de Kerels will make life difficult for Cercle Brugge. The Groen en Zwart, on the other hand, are running down a blind alley, with the team suffering nine defeats in the last ten league matches. Since Cercle Brugge have been struggling in front of goal of late, home win should be considered. Both Decostere and Deuro are injured for the visitors, while Van Damme is quarantined.
