Our prediction for this Bundesliga match:
After coming from behind to beat Paderborn 5-1 at Benteler-Arena, Schalke 04 will be looking to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they host Mainz at their VELTINS-Arenaon Matchday 5. Die Knappen head into Friday’s football game high on confidence as they are eyeing their third consecutive win in the national championship. Morocco international Amine Harit scored a brace in the victory over Paderborn and we predict that the 22-year-old is going to pose a big threat for the opposition defenders.
Die Nullfunfer, on the other hand, desperately needed a win against Hertha and they managed to get one. Mainz did well to put an end to their three-game losing run in the 2019/2020 Bundesliga campaign, but seeing that they conceded nine goals in total in back-to-back defeats to the likes of Freiburg (0-3) and Bayern Munchen (1-6), we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the visitors.
